The ferries currently operates two cross-harbour routes which from Central to Tsim Sha Tsui and from Wan Chai to Tsim Sha Tsui. Even though the harbour is crossed by railway and road tunnels, the Star Ferry continues to provide an inexpensive mode of harbour crossing and preventing from traffic jam. The ferry is also the best way for enjoying the nice view of Victoria Harbour for the tourists and has been chosen as “50 place you must visit” by the “National Geographic” in 2009.
